| well, its about time someone here refer to the release of the album....
anyway, the album is ok. but it was a little bit disapointing for me.... there are some people who would expect more from infected mushroom after "converting vrgrtarians"... im one of them. i think that this album is the very simillar to infecteeds 3rd album, B.P Empire, because these are the only two album that are completley psy album without any othe influences. what i mean? the fisrt album- the Gathering is trance with rock music. the second, classical mushroom is trance with classic music elements. the third- BP Empire is psychedelic trance all the way. infecteds fourth, converting vegetrians is trance with ambient and the last one, im the supervisor is also like BP Empire is trance all the way. cheers. |

avichai i don't know what musical background u have(if any) or what u'r ears are telling you, but ,infected mushroom work is 5 levels abouve all other trance artists (except may be 1 or 2)in the world. theis last album is a masterpeace... open your ears (dumbass) cheers all. |

| Overall i feel that this album is once again another true leap ahead (and to the side) in trance, it is both incredibly produced and original :- a typical Infected Album.
IM the supervisor is a good track to begin with, catchy lyrics (although few of them) and a good danceable vibe. Ratio Schmatio is a lovely experiment in sound, but is not anything particular compared to the rest of the album. Muse Breaks (Remix) is probably one of the best and most original tracks on the whole album, too amazing to be described in words. Meduzz is, compared the tracks that come immediately before and after it, not as good, but still better than virtually all other trance. Cities of the Future is absolutely amazing, probably my favourite track on the Album. Although it begins with quite unoriginal chord progressions and vocoding, it suddenly switches and (quote) i find myself going away, getting utterly lost in the track. Completely amazing, one of the best tracks of this year. The rest of the album is also staggeringly good, but less marked than tracks 2 and 4... One of the best albums of 2004 by a long way.. | Infected mushroom has been marketing themselves more commercially with every album. This one has taken that step much father forward. This is no longer psychedlic trance, but a new hybrid genre tht seeks to allow themselves to be marketed along with the likes of Crystal Method and Chemical Brothers. (that logic also plays in with the move to La) Anybody calling this trance should reevaulate what you call trance. This is now pop-electronica.
Not to say its bad or poorly made music, but its no longer what it claims to be |

| why so comercial? since the converting vegetarians i was feeling the tracks was very mixed with "eletro"... so came to my hands this album... is drum n bass or eletro totally mixed with it... it sux... but still is infected.... all my respect |

| its an ok album. not really psy trance but good work on production. I still think that the gathering is their best album ever, pure psychadelic trance to the head. but, talking about the best psy trance album ever, there is no doubt that simon posford (HALLUCINOGEN) album "the lone deranger", is by far THE BEST album ever made, and i think infected mushroom them self will agree with me.

| IM The Supervisor is a good album, though overall I have found it a little underwhelming. Upon first listen I was blown away, though that initial exultation seems to have faded somewhat. Most of the songs are good; I particularly enjoy Muse Breaks, and find it very musically inspiring, and the last track (of whom's name my mind is currently blank) is also brilliant. But the only words I can think of for the album as a whole is cheesy and vaguely annoying. No longevity, in that I found it sort of faded quickly. I can imagine girls in lycra leotards doing aerobics to some of these tunes. They are definetly dance floor numbers. It may seem I am really bagging this album; its just I feel IM should have moved further with the theme of Converting Veg. Disc 2- definetly psychedelic music but more experimental then trancey but still IM's tripped out style who none can really match. Anyway, I give this album 6.5 out of ten. Thats just my 2 cents.... | think about israel being a problematic state..lately
compared to Germany,England,Japan,France,USA,Canada and all other states(with respect) in which psychedelic and trance events are likely to happen a lot,....including their artist capacity and artist-creativity....most common the oppurtunities given to people who want to bring parties high... ..I wanna say Infected are extremely creative and talanted musicians and that is the only reason they are famous everywhere .. ...the more I see the less I talk.. the name and art of Infected Mushroom brings spirit into peoples minds .thanks |
