When Guy Astrogano and Niv Konforty met together, they decided to make some music, and the duo Astronivo was formed. What can I say more except that 99% of the tracks they release are pure quality dance floor music? This time they teamed up with DJ Zombi to even spice the tracks a bit more. Let's see what have we got:
A deep resonating bass cuts through our ears as time and space progress into an undeniable groove with deep chord stabs in the original Cooling Down. This track is clearly intended for dancing. The experimental factor is on a high level, blending a skittering line of percussions with a grinding techno backing, which leads us to a headless waving on the torched dance floor. Short and sweet. Repetitive and mechanic is the business with King Roc’s remix, applying the old and secure formula generated by Martin Dawson which brings us a massive deep low ends and a hypnotic housey-techno female vocal. The chord progression now has an intensity missing from the original but the spooked-out Mr. C like pad fills up the tune. Good work. |
