Insect Sun

 ( Balloonia ,  Feb. 2001 )

A. Lowlife 6:22 140bpm B. Ghost 7:21 144bpm

A first vinyl from Insect Sun, but there'll be a lot more coming soon. Techno-trance at its best and great sound.

Lowlife on the A-side is a technoy tune, minimal and sharp in sounds. It starts confusing, and well, actually goes on that way all around. Massive baseline, great hi-hats, electro-psychedelic farts, weird delays, puzzling rhythms- always interesting, always changing. An interesting little tune and a great in-between to relax the body and confuse the mind, when that is needed in a party. Ghost on the B-side is a completely different story, more chaos here, more full on- "have you ever seen a ghost?"- well, a good chance this track is gonna make you see one if played at the middle of a night at a good forest party- spooky stuff! Great hi-hats work, everchanging rhythms, good groove, and a great psychotic break near the end. Middle of the night madness material.

Recomendation:  A good 12" promising a lot of future refreshing quality sounds (I know, I heard a lot of it)- great dancefloor stuff! The Israeli answer to European tech-trance. Get it!
