A legend of Israeli electronic music, Miki Litvak has been around the scene for a quite while, releasing music since 1996 alongside Ido Ophir under the alias Hyperion. His success is due to the active involvement in the electronic music through the years, forming some well known bands like Shidapu, Andorphia, Atomic Lens, Domestic, Elegant Universe, and taking part in some outstanding projects altogether releasing a massive amount of songs. There is a simple rule in this world which Miki followed: “evolve or die”, and the best example is his current web release Guadeloupe under the wing of Punch Music. Let us see the process of evolution:
The original offers a solid beat with a technoish touch which gets progressively more and more mystic as it waves its deep house spell, tampering with the atmospheric properties of the background elements and pads, starting with less velocity and gaining dynamics at the middle, pumping through the vastness of space and time. The pursuit for originality has brought this release with an almost breathtaking remix from Anthony Scott MacKinnon aka Edit Select, even simpler with thick musical composition of an obscure nature making it a full blown track, presenting the techno style at its best. A track that brings attention and focus to the ears.
