Remedy

Remedy are Tomer Dayan and Guy Youngman from Tel Aviv. They met 2 years ago in a forest, during the organizing of a trance party. Sooner than later they found themselves working in the same place- the Tel Aviv Court House. With much spare time on their hands they started cooperating in writing music. Their aim is to make no nonsense trance music in various styles and try putting a twist in every track.

Tomer (Atom) is a 24-year-old computer technician from Jaffa, Israel. He has been listening to electronic music from an early age. Early influences include groups like The Prodigy, SL2, Depech Mode, The Chemical Brothers and Kraftwerk. Classical influences include David Bowie and Pink Floyd. He started writing music in 1999 on Fast Tracker with his friend Yoni Rimon (Nowadays they are working under the name Yotopia). Tomer's current influences include acts like Quirk, MOS, Ticon, Son Kite and Atmos.

Guy (GuyShanti) is a 29-year-old business graduate originally from Nahariya, Israel. He has been listening to Heavy Metal from a very early age of 12. Early influences include bands like AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and a lot of 60's and 70's rock. Guy also plays guitar and percussions.

He used to have a growing dislike to electronic music. The first electronic music to have any positive effect on him was jungle from acts like Groove Rider, LTJ Bukem and early Prodigy. He first heard trance in 1995 from acts like MFG, Union Jack and Tsuyoshi Suzuki, and got hooked. He started writing trance in 1998 on a Roland MC303. Guy started Djing in 1999 and is today a known underground DJ in Israel. He also works under the name Evil Drug Lords.
Guy's current influences include X-Dream, Atmos, Skazi and Haldolium.

Remedy are working in Plug 'n' Pray studio in Tel Aviv. Most tracks are written on computer only.
