The A-side, Cyber Zoo (on Psycho Toons), starts with a lot of electro-crickets, weird guitars and samples, and generally gives you the impression that you're in a trance party the middle of a huge video games arcade. The usual Sandman psy-squeaks, but dance floor compatible. Very interesting sounds but too many of them.
On the B-side we have STP (also on Space Mantra), it starts in the dark, with a mysterious atmosphere and sneaking sounds. Just as you would expect from Itzik track has a lot of squeaking and tweaking sounds, powerful bass, twisting and turning rhythms, deep dark gothic melodies, and of course, a lot of surprises. If you listen well you can feel Skinny Puppy hiding there. This is a beautiful track, very dramatic, very psychedelic, very dark- a true journey for the imagination. |
